ABOUT DISTRICT COURT
The Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class Cum Civil Judge (Junior Division) was established in Changlang in the Year 2018. Shri. Utumso Boo was the first Judge of the JMFC Court. Fast forward to 2020, the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Cum Civil Judge (Senior Division) was also established with Shri. Damge Niri as the first judge of the CJM Court. Both the Courts fall under the Sessions Jurisdiction of District & Sessions Judge, Khonsa Sessions division, Khonsa, Tirap District, Arunachal Pradesh. At present, Smti. Mary Kamsi is the Chief Judicial Magistrate cum Civil Judge (Sr. Div.) of the Court. The Court does not have its own building and functions temporarily in the old DC office building, Changlang.
CHANGLANG DISTRICT
The district Changlang was established on 14th November, 1987 with its headquarters at Changlang town. The district with picturesque hills lies in the South-Eastern corner of Arunachal Pradesh state, North-East India. It has an area of 4,662 Sqr.
